ALKCOOL LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY

Thank you for purchasing ALKCOOL commercial refrigeration equipment. Our products are

designed for reliability and long service life under normal commercial use. This Limited Warranty

sets forth the coverage, exclusions, and procedures for warranty claims.

1. Coverage Overview

ALKCOOL (“Brand of ALKCOOL Manufacturing Corp”) warrants to the original purchaser that

each new display cooler and all internal parts shall be free from defects in materials and

workmanship under normal use and maintenance, subject to the terms and conditions below.

Component Coverage Type

Parts (non-compressor): 3 Years – Parts Only

Compressor: 5 Years – Parts Only

Labor: Not Included (optional 1 or 2-year add-on)

2. No Labor Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers parts only. Labor, service, travel, refrigerant, and related costs are not

covered under any circumstance.

A. Parts Warranty

• Manufacturer warrants all parts for three (3) years from the date of original installation, or

thirty (30) days after shipment, whichever occurs first.

• During this period, ALKCOOL will provide replacement parts for any component found

defective in material or workmanship.

• This warranty covers replacement parts only. Labor, service, travel, refrigerant, and

diagnostic costs are excluded.

B. Compressor Warranty

• The hermetically sealed compressor is warranted for an additional two (2) years (parts only)

beyond the initial three-year parts warranty, for a total of five (5) years parts-only coverage.

• This coverage applies only to the compressor unit itself.

• No labor, refrigerant, freight, or service expenses are included.

3. Optional Labor Warranty

Customers may purchase extended labor protection when ordering:

1-Year Labor Warranty – Covers authorized labor for 1 year from delivery.

2-Year Labor Warranty – Covers authorized labor for 2 years from delivery.

Labor coverage applies only to authorized ALKCOOL service technicians and approved service

events.

4. Warranty Registration Requirement

To activate warranty coverage, the customer must complete the warranty registration form

within 15 days of receiving the equipment.

⚠️ Unregistered units are not eligible for warranty coverage.

You will need:

• Model & Serial Number

• Proof of Purchase

• Delivery Date

5. Warranty Claim Requirements

To qualify for replacement under this warranty:

1. The customer must obtain a diagnostic report from a certified refrigeration service provider

describing the defect or failure.

2. The diagnostic report must be submitted to ALKCOOL Manufacturing Corp for review and

approval before any replacement part is shipped.

3. Warranty approval is contingent upon ALKCOOL’s verification that the failure resulted from

a defect in material or workmanship.

4. Unauthorized repairs performed before warranty approval are not covered.

6. Shipping and Packaging Costs

• All shipping, handling, and packaging costs for replacement parts are the responsibility of the

customer.

• ALKCOOL will not pay freight charges for outgoing or returned parts under any circumstance.

• If expedited shipping is requested, the customer will be billed accordingly.

• Returned parts must be properly packaged to prevent damage; damage in transit voids

warranty coverage for that part.

7. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Labor, service, diagnostic, or travel costs

• Freight, shipping, or packaging costs for replacement or returned parts

• Damage from improper installation, misuse, abuse, or neglect

• Damage from unauthorized repairs or unqualified service

• Normal wear components (door gaskets, bulbs, filters, handles, etc.)

• Cosmetic issues (scratches, dents, discoloration)

• Electrical or mechanical damage caused by power surges or voltage irregularities

• Units installed outdoors, in vehicles, or environments exceeding stated ambient limits

• Units used for residential or non-commercial purposes

• Failure to register warranty within 15 days of receipt

8. Replacement Parts Coverage

Replacement parts supplied under warranty are covered for the remainder of the original

warranty period only. No extensions or resets apply.

9. Limitation of Liability

ALKCOOL’s sole obligation under this warranty is limited to supplying replacement parts as

specified above. In no event shall ALKCOOL be liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect

damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of product or merchandise

• Loss of revenue or profit

• Business interruption

• Service call or installation costs

10. Residential Use Exclusion

⚠️ No coverage applies to residential installations.

ALKCOOL refrigeration units are designed for commercial use only. Use in a home, garage, or

non-commercial location voids all warranty and service coverage, including compressor and

parts.

11. Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California,

USA. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
